Hillingdon Women's Centre is based at:
333 Long Lane
Hillingdon (known as Hillingdon Circus)
Tel: 01895 259578
We are open Monday to Thursday 9.30-5.30pm and closed all day on a Friday.
Hillingdon Women's Centre is a charitable organisation (charity number 801433, company number 02009021) and is here to provide a women only space for all women, aged 18 and over, enabling women to obtain safe and confidential information and advice on matters relating to: legal advice, benefits, housing, abuses, violence against women, education, training, health, workshops, social activities, support groups and much more. Hillingdon Women's Centre has been open to women for 26 years and has empowered over 52,500 women throughout this period. HWC encourages service user involvement in the development of its groups, activities and services.
HWC employs two full time paid members of staff, Jill Lynch our Centre Manager and Marion Osborne-Wright our Volunteer Development Manager. HWC and it's services are supported by volunteers who give freely of their time on varying days and times of the week. HWC apologises in advance if the centre is ever closed unexpectedly. HWC does it's best to be open as advertised.
HWC may be closed to drop-in, due to low levels of volunteers at short notice available to cover it's services, especially in the run up to and just after Christmas (please telephone to check before dropping into the centre).
Our next drop-in legal advice service will be Monday 7th January 2013 from 6-7.15pm
